About Us
Our Story
100 Years of Christian Education
For 100 years, LifePoint Academy has been Jacksonville’s only Seventh-day Adventist educational system, offering a Christian education that puts God first in every part of life. We teach students to care for God’s creation, to show respect and responsibility at school and with classmates, and to carry those values into their personal lives.
LifePoint Academy is part of the Florida Conference Office of Education (FLCOE), the network of Seventh-day Adventist schools serving families across Florida. For our families, that means the best of both worlds: a close-knit local school, backed by the shared curriculum, teacher development, and accreditation standards of an established statewide system.

Guiding Principles
Our Philosophy
LifePoint Academy is operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church to provide a spiritually oriented education for children. A belief in the existence of the Creator God is fundamental in the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist schools.
We believe that true education develops the spiritual, mental, and physical powers of each student, preparing them for the joy of service in this life and for the higher joy of service in the life to come.
We encourage each student to:
- Develop a personal relationship with God and fellow humanity
- Master the basic academic skills
- Value labor, physical and mental, as the blessing God intended
- Cultivate physical fitness, mental ability, and moral purity
